COOKIES POLICY OF HARRISCRANES

When you use or browse our websites, mobile applications, and online services (hereinafter, the “Website”) we may store cookies on your web browser.

Other sites and third-party services also use similar technologies to collect and retain data on the configuration of the users of their services. HARRISCRANES is a company located at Av. Gustavo Baz No. 301, Colonia Viveros de la Loma, Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico, CP 54080, and is responsible for cookies and the processing of data obtained through them (hereinafter, “HARRISCRANES”).

This Cookies Policy describes the types of cookies we use on our Website and the purposes for which we use them. By using our Website, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this Cookies Policy. If you do not accept the use of these cookies, please disable them following the instructions in this Cookies Policy.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small text files that are downloaded to your browser when you visit a website. They can be stored and accessed from your device.

We use cookies to collect information about how you use our Website and to differentiate you from other users. Some cookies are necessary to browse our Website, while others are optional and allow us to recognize you on subsequent visits, offering you an experience tailored to your preferences.

Proprietary and Third-Party Cookies

Cookies can be either proprietary or third-party. A proprietary cookie is one that you receive directly from HARRISCRANES when you visit one of our sites.

A third-party cookie is one that you have received from another party, such as Google or Facebook. At HARRISCRANES, we do not control what third parties do on other sites. However, we may work with third parties and certain external providers such as Google or Facebook to allow their cookies to function through our site so that we can gain more information about your web experience and better tailor our services to you.

Persistent and Session Cookies

A persistent cookie is one that is stored on your device’s web browser until it expires or is deleted. The creator of the cookie determines the expiration of a persistent cookie, which can be on a specific date or after a session period has passed. This means that throughout the cookie’s lifespan, its information will be transmitted to the creator’s server each time the user visits the website it belongs to or another site set up to check that cookie (like an ad placed on that site). For this reason, persistent cookies are also known as “tracking cookies.”

A session cookie is created temporarily on your device for use by a website during your visit. This type of cookie can store the information you enter and track your activity within the website. Session cookies are deleted after you leave the website or close the web browser. A good example of a session cookie is the shopping cart on an e-commerce site. The cookie stores the items you add to your cart so that they are not forgotten while you browse other pages on the site. By using a session cookie, all the items will remain in the cart when you go to the checkout page.

HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES

Cookies that are not essential for browsing this website can be disabled in the website settings. These settings are found in the footer of the website.

Additionally, most web browsers allow you to choose whether or not to accept cookies and also to delete them once stored. The available options and the mechanism used will vary from one browser to another. These browser settings are typically found in the “options,” “tools,” or “preferences” menu. You can also consult the browser’s “help” menu. For example:

  1. Cookie settings in Internet Explorer
  2. Cookie settings in Firefox
  3. Cookie settings in Chrome
  4. Cookie settings in Safari

There are online tools available to clear all cookies left by the websites you have visited, such as www.allaboutcookies.org. Generally, deleting cookies will anonymize the information associated with the pixel, and a website will no longer receive information.

HARRISCRANES uses cookies to: (i) Optimize user navigation by tracking the session. (ii) Collect information to optimize navigation and improve the website.

Our sites use strictly necessary cookies, performance cookies, functional cookies, audience cookies, and social media cookies.
